Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Answers to some common Questions

How Do I Get Started?

First, fill our consultation form so we can help determine your eligibility for an immigration program that fits your needs and circumstances.
The information required in our consultation form includes:

  • Personal data for yourself and spouse if you have one.
  • Education Level
  • Work experience
  • Job offer in Canada
  • Relatives in Canada

Secondly, your profile will be reviewed, and we will send you an invitation for initial consultation with the initial consultation agreement document and the consultation fee before advising you of your eligibility for the best immigration options available to you depending on your situation.

What does Initial Consultation look like?

All information you provided would be reviewed and research done on the immigration programs that are best suited to you and options will be provided for you to choose. We will advise but the decision is yours. Adequate information needed for you to be able to make the best decision will be provided to you. We believe you own your dream to immigrate to Canada. The paid 1-hour consultations also include case specific presentations, which help to better understand your personalized immigration option, eligibility, requirements, next steps, as well as review all the questions you might have. The interesting part of this process is that the Initial Consultation fee is reasonable and will provide answers to questions you may have.

Is a Language test necessary?

Canada has two official languages, which are English and French. Language test might be required depending on the immigration program and the Country of origin. The Canada wide requirement for determining language ability in this case English and French is called the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB). Minimum requirements may be different depending on the immigration program. The minimum requirement varies between CLB 5 and 7 depending on the immigration program and some programs may not require a language test. CLB 5, in most cases is usually for low skilled professions while CLB 7 is usually for high skill professions. However, Universities and Colleges may require a high language test result depending on the program of study. You may need to provide proof of your language test in either language depending on the program requirements.

Please note that meeting minimum requirements for a program does not equate to approval but is a general directive given by the government for applicants to participate in the immigration process and there are other requirements that you will be assessed on again, depending on the immigration pathway chosen. International students may or may not require proof of language skills to gain acceptance to Canadian school, college or university.

You can take only one of the approved language tests:

Please note your test results must be less than two years old for application in any immigration program to Canada.

When do I get the result of my immigration application?

Application processing times are different for the various types of application for immigration to Canada. If you have a specific date to be in Canada either for study or an event, you must give reasonable time for the processing of your application, and it is advisable to apply couples of months ahead.

Please visit  IRCC website (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html) for more information

Can you guarantee that my application is approved?

Please note only Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC) officers can decide whether or not to issue a visa. If someone “guarantees” a visa, that should immediately raise a concern – don’t be a victim of fraud.

Lawyers and Immigration Consultants cannot guarantee approval of your application, the decision is solely with the IRCC but consultants can help increase your likelihood of success and that is what we are here to do for you.
